Randall L. Attkisson
A founding member of First Southern Bancorp, Randy retired from the active management team in 2008. He is Co-Founder and Partner with Bluegrass Financial Holdings, LLC and affiliates. Randy serves on the board of First Southern insurance affiliate, UTG, Inc. and is Chairman of the Board for the Isaiah House Treatment Center.
John R. Ball
Active Board member since 1987, John serves as Senior Vice President / Lending Manager for First Southern National Bank. John serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Campbellsville University. He is also an active member of Lancaster Baptist Church.
William “Rusty” Clark
Rusty Clark has been with First Southern since 1994. He was elected to the First Southern Bancorp Board in 2004 and was named President of First Southern National Bank in November 2009. A native of Garrard County, Rusty and his family currently reside in Russellville, Kentucky. He is a Deacon at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ and he serves on the board of Western Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Jesse T. Correll
Jess Correll is a founding member and has served as President and Chairman of First Southern Bancorp since 1987. He is Chairman of the Board and CEO of UTG, Inc., and also serves on the boards of Friends of the Good Samaritans in India, National Christian Foundation and The River Foundation.
Preston is one of the founders of Marksbury Farm Market based in Bryantsville, Kentucky. He also owns and operates St. Asaph Farm in Stanford, Kentucky and focuses on sustainable farming and raising natural meat. He spent a year and half in India working with the Good Samaritans ministry and now serves on the board of the Friends of the Good Samaritans.
A Board member since 1987, Correll is one of the founders and original board members for First Southern Bancorp. He is owner of Cumberland Lake Shell and other businesses in Somerset, Kentucky.
Douglas P. Ditto
An original Board member, Doug has served many years as part of First Southern National Bank’s executive management team and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Central Lending Group Manager. Doug is Vice President and Treasurer of First Southern Bancorp and also serves as Vice President of UTG, Inc. He and his family are members of Indian Hills Christian Church in Danville, Kentucky.
A First Southern Bancorp Board Member since its founding in 1987, David serves as Senior Vice President of Real Estate for First Southern National Bank. He attends Stanford Presbyterian Church.
Elected to the First Southern Bancorp Board in 2004, Hargis is a Certified Public Accountant in Russellville, Kentucky, specializing in the health care industry. He served as a director of Citizens National Bank in Russellville prior to its conversion to First Southern National Bank in 2005, and he continues to serve on the local bank’s Business Development Board.
Board member since 2002, Irvin is a partner in The Irvin Group, a real estate and auction company in Lancaster, Kentucky, and a partner in Lincoln Realty, a real estate and auction company in Stanford, Kentucky. He was a long-time customer of the National Bank of Lancaster prior to its conversion to First Southern National Bank in 1986.
Mickey Ray, a long-standing member of First Southern’s Somerset Business Development Board, joined the First Southern Bancorp Board in November 2009. He serves as President of Tru-Check Meter Service, Secretary of Tru-Check, Inc. and Secretary of Modern Distributors, Inc., all based in Somerset, Kentucky. He is a member of Southside Church of Christ in Somerset.
Tommy has been with First Southern since 1989, and he was named Chief Executive Officer of First Southern National Bank in November 2009. Tommy is an active member of Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church in Monticello, Kentucky and his wife, Renee, is co-founder of the H.E.L.P. Pregnancy Center in Wayne County.
Bill Rouse founded The Rouse Companies, a commercial real estate development company based in Lexington, Kentucky. He currently serves on the boards of the Hope Center, Jubilee Jobs, Lexington Leadership Foundation, Triangle Foundation and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bluegrass Area, in addition to serving on the advisory board of the Kentucky Christian Foundation.
